Top events in Napa in July 2020 include a July 4th celebration at the county fairgrounds in Calistoga, Festival Napa Valley, and several wine tasting events at wineries all around the valley. You can also enjoy some outdoor summer concerts as well as some great shows at the Uptown Theatre and the Blue Note.

This year's Fourth of July parade in Napa starts at 10am. The parade is in historic downtown Napa. It starts by heading east down 2nd Street. It then heads west on 3rd Street. The parade lasts until around noon. This year's theme is "Celebrating Our Hometown Heroes."
If you are looking for something fun to do at night, then head over to the Uptown Theatre in downtown Napa. Here are their top shows this month.

This month, California's wine region comes alive with Festival Napa Valley, 10 days of more than 60 events spread out among the area's most stunning estates, vineyards, theaters, and restaurants. Over 100 wineries will participate. A few events are free, while others are fund raisers, but they are all designed to highlight Napa's fine wine and cuisine, and its enriching art, fitness, and community programs.

Run from one gorgeous wine region to the next during this half marathon event. The race starts at Cuvaison Carneros Winery and ends in the historic Sonoma Plaza in front of City Hall. Bring the entire family as there are fun activities planned around the race.
The Rose 5K is on Saturday and the Half-Maraton is on Sunday. You can run in one or the other. You can also get special pricing if you want to run in both.

For nearly 50 years, the Robert Mondavi Winery has been hosting some of the best events in Napa in July--their annual summer concert series. They've welcomed artists such as Ingrid Michaelson, Melissa Etheridge, Five for Fighting, Martina McBride, O.A.R., and so many more. The kick-off concert for this season will take place this July at their beautiful outdoor concert venue surrounded by vineyards, where you can purchase lawn, patio, or dinner seating.
This fun live music festival is one of the free events in Napa in July. Festivities last all afternoon and are designed to bring the community outside and into the neighborhood. At Porchfest, homeowners volunteer their porches as stages for talented musicians to show off their work. Maps will be provided so you'll be sure not to miss anything, and while you can certainly explore on foot, bicycling is encouraged as a means of transportation between venues.
Take advantage of the summer weather by heading to the Riverwalk on Friday nights for free live music concerts. The recently renovated Veterans Memorial Park Amphitheater is the perfect place to have a picnic with the family and relax along the terraced seating areas with views of the Napa River. Shows are every Friday evening from 6:30 to 10pm from June to August.
While Napa has its free outdoor concerts on Friday nights, nearby Calistoga offers free concerts in the park on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30pm between June and August. Check out the schedule and set out for Pioneer Park with your picnic basket and blankets. There will be local wines available for purchase, each week featuring a different winery.

Duckhorn Vineyards: Midsummer Magnum Dinner (7/18), wine paired dinner from numerous Duckhorn vintages from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, 21 and over only
Ehlers Estate: Winemaker's Dinner (7/25), hosted by the winemaker in the cellar with rare library wines and a 3-course meal, from 6 pm to 10 pm
Honig Wine: Lobsterlicious (7/19), at the Honig Crush Pad enjoy a lobster boil with Maine lobster, prawns, potatoes, corn on the cob, artichoke and hot links, and Honig's wines, fun from noon 12 pm to 3pm (food served at 1 pm)
Merryvale: Live music on the terrace on the first Friday of the month in July, music from 5pm to 7pm
Pine Ridge Vineyards: CB+V Sparkling Wine Debut (7/11), Enjoy Pine Ridge's Chenin Blanc and Viognier with assistant winemaker, Colleen Fitzgerald, enjoy these newly released wines, alongside other Pine Ridge favorites, a light, family-style lunch will also be served
V. Sattui Winery: 2020 Festa Italiana - A Mid-Summer Italian Festival (7/25), a fantastic meal of roast boar, salmon and more paired with wines, live music starting at 6 pm and ending at 9:30 pm
ZD Wines: Summer Wine Celebration (7/25), wines, raffles, games, and local food, live music, this is a charity event benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Napa Valley's Teen Center, from 12 noon to 3 pm, tickets are $75

Conn Creek Winery: Lobster in the Garden (7/27), lobster boil with corn, artichoke, sausage and top Conn Creek wines, $96 for members and $125 for general admission, 5 pm to 7:30 pm
Flora Springs: Sixteen Spirits Historical Ghose Winery Tour (7/14), taste wines as you are led through their winery and learn about the history of the 16 ghosts that inhabit it, limited to 12 people total, starts at 10 am
Grgich Hills Estate: A Day in the Vineyard (7/27), Learn about their organic vineyards as you tour them with the winemaker, enjoy wine and a 3-course brunch afterwards, from 8 am to 11:30 am
HALL St Helena: Arts for All Gala (7/14), enjoy wine, food, art, and music at this benefit for public schools in Napa, this year's featured artists is Seal, from 5 pm to 10 pm
St. Supery Estate Vineyards: Festival Napa Valley Vintners Luncheon (7/18), Taste single varietal wines and blends, farm to table lunch from 12 noon to 2 pm
Tedeschi Family Winery: On the Rise - Making Dough at Tedeschi Family Winery (7/27), Learn how to make pizza, cook it in the family's wood fired stove, and taste wine from 11 am to 1 pm, it is limited to 12 people total so reserve in advance
