SF Theater: Book of Mormon

Botticelli to Braque at the de Young Museum

Stop by the de Young Museum all month long for their temporary exhibit called Botticelli to Braque: Masterpieces from the National Galleries of Scotland. The exhibit includes pieces that span more than 400 years. It includes many of the most famous painters from the Renaissance to the early 20th century. Film Festivals in May

San Francisco hosts more than 50 film festivals every year. One of the largest is in May, the International Film Festival. This annual event lasts for more than two weeks and draws thousands of people to the Bay Area. Other film festivals this month include the Greek Film Festival, the Green Film Festival, and the Silent Film Festival.

Bette Midler in San Jose

Head to San Jose to see Bette Midler live at the SAP Center in San Jose. It's her first tour in more than 10 years. She will perform her greatest hits as well as songs from her latest album. The show starts at 8pm.

Alcatraz Night & SF City Tour

The best time to check out Alcatraz Island is during their night tour. It gives you the chance to get a real feel for what it was like to live on this island. World Golf Championship - Cadillac Match Play

Head over to TPC Harding Park for the World Golf Championship, Cadillac Match Play. This PGA Golf event will feature some of the biggest names on the tour. You can stop by for their practice rounds or head on over to watch them as they compete. The purse size for this competition is $9.25 million.

SF Ballet's Romeo and Juliet

International Beer Festival

This year's International Beer Festival is once again at the Fort Mason Center. This annual fundraiser helps support the Telegraph Hill Cooperative Nursery School and is put on by the parents of the children. It's a fun way to sample new beers as you raise money for a great cause.

Jane Lynch Live

If you love Jane Lynch, this is your chance to see her live at the Palace of Fine Arts. This night of comedy and singing will be a night to remember. Lynch is famous for her roles in Glee, The Best in Show, and The 40-Year Old Virgin. Her performance starts at 7:30pm.

They Might be Giants at the Fillmore

This year's Asian Heritage Festival will be held in a new location in the Civic Center Plaza.
