Auction Napa Valley is one of the best events in Napa in June, combining the classic activity of wine tasting and mingling with vintners, with the opportunity to enjoy artful cuisine in a serene setting, with the chance to bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences and collections of the region's best wines to benefit a good cause. Last year, this event raised more than $14 million for education and health non-profits.

This June, Napa kicks off its 11th season of providing great, free summer concerts to the public. Music offered ranges from jazz to rock, blues, pop, country, world, and folk. Grab your picnic basket and blanket and head over to Veterans Memorial Park on Friday nights from 6:30 to 10pm throughout the months of June, July, and August. The terraced seating areas, beautiful lighting, and views of the Napa River are hard to beat.

This event offers five full days of premium jazz entertainment in the heart of wine country. Performing artists this year include Brian Culbertson (host), Sheila E, Euge Groove, Eric Darius, David Benoit, and many more. The main concerts will take place at the Lincoln Theater and at Jamieson Ranch Vineyards. Purchase tickets for the Welcome Dinner & Jam Session, per day, or for an entire weekend getaway.

Other events in Napa in June include free concerts in the park on Thursday evenings. From June to August, you'll find this series at Pioneer Park in the town of Calistoga. You are free to bring the whole family along with your blankets, chairs, and picnic dinners. Each week will feature a different local winery that will have select wines for sale.
Enjoy the day at Sterling Vineyards sampling roses from around the Napa Valley. More than 30 wineries will be on hand with sample of their tasty rose wines. Sterling Vineyards is located at 1111 Dunaweal Lane in Calistoga. The event runs from 12pm to 4pm.
