Sonoma County wine events in April 2017 give you the chance to sample some of the area's best local wines. My calendar includes all of the events that are open to the public throughout this month.
They include Lobster Boils, BBQs, Release Parties, Spring Cleaning Days (with discounts on wines), and so much more. They are organized by weekend, so you can quickly find an event that fits into your schedule.

These are the top Sonoma County wine events in April for Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd.
Benziger Family Winery: Rose Release (1st), stop by all day on April 1 to enjoy the release of Benziger's rose
Buena Vista Winery: Spring Cleaning Event (1st), this is not a party, but rather a chance to pick up some of Buena Vista Winery's wines at a great price, stop by anytime on April 1st to find great deals, no RSVP required
DeLoach Vineyards: Spring Cleaning (1 & 2), enjoy deals on library wines, large format, and current release wines, from 11am to 4pm both days, no reservations required
Dutton Goldfield: Wine & Cheese Pairing Class & Grilled Cheese Reception with Cheese Expert Laura Werlin (1st), sample limited production wines paired with some of the best American cheeses as you learn tricks on wine and cheese pairing from Laura, includes a wine and grilled cheese reception after, $95 per person, RSVP at (707)823-9120
Emeritus Vineyards: Yoga in the Vineyard (1st), yoga at 10:15am with wine and a light snack after, $30 per person
Enkidu: Spring Fling (1st), an afternoon of wine tasting with new releases and other winery favorites + small bites, 12pm to 5pm, no reservations required
Hanna Winery & Vineyards: Spring Release Party (1st), music and wine pairing at their Healdsburg/Alexander Valley location, 10am to 4pm
Imagery Estate Winery: Release of their Rose (1st), stop by the tasting room to celebrate the release of their Serres Ranch, Sonoma Valley, Aleatico Rose
La Crema: Painting in the Loft (2nd), spend the afternoon sipping wine and learning step-by-step how to paint, all levels welcome, at La Crema's Saralee's Vineyard, $50 per person, $40 for club members

DeLoach Vineyards: Toast of Olivet (8th), Deloach Vineyards along with the 8 other Olivet Road wineries are celebrating the weekend with food, wine and specials, cost includes a logo glass
Dutton Goldfield: D-G Tasting Room Reception 7 Year Anniversary (7th - 9th), new single vineyard releases and small bites from Chef Austin Perkins, $25 per person (waived if you buy two bottles of wine at the event)
Jordan Winery: Taste of the Sea Spring Dinner (8th), a supper club style dinner at the winery, 7-course meal paired with Jordan wines, luxurious evening in their elegant dining room, for 30 people only, $295 per person
Kunde Family Winery: Hike & Taste in the Vineyards (9th), hike the vineyard with a long time employee as you learn more about Kinde's vineyards and the grapes they grow, at the end sample some of their wines, members $15, guests $30, reservations are required
La Crema: Pasta and Pinots (8th), learn to make pasta at this hands on workshop, follow up the workshop with the chance to enjoy the classes creations paired with La Crema wines, at their Saralee's Vineyard, $50 per person, $40 for club members

These Sonoma County wine events in April are over Easter Weekend. You will find several events on both Saturday and Sunday.
Chateau Diana: Easter Egg Hunt (15th) at 1pm, the hunt begins right at 1pm and is followed by appetizers, wine tasting, and other activities, book your spot before the event to ensure entry
Francis Ford Coppola Winery: Easter Hoppin'ing (15th), 9am to 12pm, kids arts and crafts festival with craft stations, games, face painting, and an animal show, $12 per kid
Imagery Estate Winery: Gallery Days (16th), stop by the winery to meet the artist behind the label of their 2016 Muscat de Canelli and find out more about his inspiration for the design, buy a bottle or a print and have him sign it, 1pm to 3pm

Lambert Bridge: Chef's Table Series (14th & 15), fresh seasonal dishes created by Shari Sarabi of Baci Cafe + Wine Bar paired with Lambert Bridge wines, 11am to 3pm, $95 for members, $125 for non-members

Emeritus Vineyards: Annual End of Frost Party (22nd), new releases and new vintages of the Ruby Red (rose wine), barrel tasting, food, and kids activities, $35 per person
Hartford Family Winery: Winemaker Dinner (22nd), a night of food, wine, and a chance to meet the winemaker, general tickets $140, member price $120, seating is limited so contact them for reservations
Jacuzzi Wines: Celebrate All Things Spring! (22nd), a joint event with Cline Cellars, at Jacuzzi taste their wines paired with fresh tacos, live music, free shuttle to Cline, and a chance to celebrate spring, $30 a ticket, $20 for wine club members
Korbel: Flavors of Spring (22nd), visit their gardens on opening day, see areas that are not often visited, recieve a logo flute, small bites paired with their sparkling wines, $25 for the public, $20 for wine club members
Ledson Winery & Vineyards: Vineyard Row Owners Celebration (22nd), the day starts with a barrel tasting and information about Ledson at 10am, this is followed by a picnic lunch and more information about the vineyard, that night enjoy a 6-course meal paired with Ledson's finest, $200 per person

Dutton Goldfield: National Sense of Smell Day (29th), sniff the jars around the wine tasting room, tasting is complimentary with wine tasting ($20 tasting fee if you don't purchase wines)
Jacuzzi Wines: Pizza in the Piazza (29th), have lunch at this monthly event, $10 for a piece of pizza and a glass of wine, order an entire pie and a bottle of wine for $30, 12pm to 3pm
Kunde Family Winery: Dog Hike with Jeff Kunde (29th) from 9am to 1pm, hike the vineyards with fourth generation wine grower Jeff Kunde and Cooper, his dog, ends with a wine tasting and lunch, some of the money raised will go to support the Canine Companions and Sonoma County Humane Society, $75 for all, no discounts for wine club members since this is a fundraising event, registration required
Macphail Wines: Spring Release Party (30th), tip new releases, sample bites from K&L Bistro, and listen to live music from 12pm to 3pm, $20 per person, complimentary tickets for wine club members plus two guests
