San Francisco's Pride Celebration is the largest LGBT Pride event in the world. During this two day long event, you can listen to live music from one of several stages, watch the colorful parade or just eat, drink and be merry with thousands of other participants.

Once a month in the spring, summer and fall, one neighborhood plays host the popular Sunday Streets event. On this day, a large path of streets close to car traffic and open to pedestrians, bikers and other outdoor enthusiasts. Local businesses also come out in full force to offer free health screenings, live music and more. June's event is on the Great Highway between Ocean Beach and the SF Zoo on Sunday, June 8.

Every Saturday at 10am and every Monday at 10am and 1:30pm, you can tour SF's famous Chinatown District for free with a guide from the SF Public Library. These two hour tours (sometimes longer) take you through the back alleys to help you uncover the mysteries of this interesting part of town.
No reservations required. Simply show up 10 minutes before the start time at the parking garage elevators in Portsmouth Square Park.

Heading into its 38th year, the Free Folk Festival offers two days of music, dance workshops, concerts, dance parties, crafts vendors and so much more. This year, the festival is on June 21 and 22. You will find it at the Presidio Middle School at 450 30th Avenue from Noon to 10pm both days.

This year's Cultivate Festival is on Saturday, June 7 in Golden Gate Park. This one-day event features demonstrations from celebrity chefs (Graham Elliot and Amanda Freitag), live music (Neon Trees, Charli XCX & Andrew MacMahon) and plenty of vendors offering up their best craft beers and gourmet food. It's free to enter the festival and it's a fun way to spend the afternoon in San Francisco.
