Free Walking Tour of the Golden Gate Bridge

During your visit to San Francisco, make sure you leave a little time to visit the Golden Gate Bridge. The best way to visit is with this free guided walking tour. Every Thursday at 11am, a volunteer guide from the SF Public Library takes you on a walk on this amazing structure. The knowledgable guide will tell you more about its history and other fun facts.

Free Museum Days

Each month, several SF Museums offer free admission. You can roam around their permanent collection at no cost all day long. Some request a small fee to visit their temporary/traveling exhibits.

NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences

Every Thursday night in July, check out the 21+ events at the California Academy of Sciences. Each week, they focus on a different theme such as The Science of Love, Chemical Reactions, and the Future of Transportation. Events include a cocktail bar, appetizers, and other like minded adults. All events last from 6pm to 10pm.

Midnight Summer Cruise

Start the holiday weekend off with a summer party cruise on the SF Bay. This three hour cruise includes two DJs (playing Top 40 & House music) and three fully stocked cash bars. SF Mime Troupe

The SF Mime Troupe kicks off their summer festival season in Dolores Park on July 3. This year's production is called Freedomland. The Mime Troupe will hold several performances in both San Francisco and the SF Bay Area through the first part of September. The shows are free, but they do request donations.

Fourth of July Celebrations

Join in on the fun this Fourth of July in San Francisco. One of the biggest draws is the huge fireworks display along the waterfront in Fisherman's Wharf. You will also find several fun activities all day long including the Fillmore Jazz Festival, special Bay Cruises, and live music and entertainment.

Fillmore Jazz Festival

The annual Fillmore Jazz Festival is over Fourth of July weekend. All day on Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5, enjoy live jazz music, gourmet food, and other fun activities. All activities are between 10am and 6pm.

Portraits & Other Likenesses from SFMOMA

The SF MOMA is currently closed through the spring of 2016. However, you can stop by the Museum of the African Diaspora to take a look at several portraits from the SF MOMA collection from the 20th Century until today. The exhibit allows you to explore different portrait techniques from Europe, America, and Africa.

Stern Grove

SF Theater: Matilda

AT&T park Spartan Sprint

Challenge your mind and body at this year's AT&T Park Spartan Sprint. You will cover 3 miles and include around 20 to 25 obstacles such as rope climbs, burpees in the the dugout, and more. This high energy race usually takes around an hour and a half.

Meghan trainor in Concert

Head over to the Nob Hill Masonic Center this July to see Meghan Trainor live in concert. This 21-year old star is known for "All About That Base," her 2014 breakthrough single. The show starts at 7pm.

San Francisco Marathon
