Sonoma County wine events in July 2017 include celebrations at Cline Cellars, Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards and Buena Vista Winery. My calendar includes all of the best options at local wineries where you can kick back, relax, and sample some amazing wines.
I've listed them by weekend, so you can quickly find options during your vacation to Sonoma. All of these are public events and many of them include tasting and food with the purchase of a ticket.

Mill Creek Winery: Library Wine Tasting (1st & 2nd), taste some of their limited edition library wines during your visit, these wines are not for sale, but it's a great chance to sample these wines, $25 for the tasting, two free tastings for wine club members
Tricycle Wine: Red, White and Blues (1st & 2nd), enjoy red and white wines by the glass, blues music, and a lot of fun, no reservation required, 10am to 5pm both days

Chateau Diana: Enjoy a day of live music, wine slushies, food and games on the 8th
Cline Cellars: Dixieland Jazz Festival (8th), sip wine and enjoy live jazz music all day long, around a dozen bands are on this year's line up, $45 for tickets, $40 for members
Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards: La Fiesta de la Paella (8th), from 6:30pm to 8:30pm enjoy Paella, flamingo dancing, and saber demonstrations at the vineyard, general admission $80, wine club members $70 - $75 per person
Walt Wines: Walt Lobster Feed (8th), spend the morning walking through the vineyards and learning more about Walt Wine's wine making process, after the walk you will enjoy a family style lobster boil, 11am to 2pm, $100 per person

Bacigalupi Vineyards: 6th Annual Vineyard Designate Tasting (15th), sample wines made exclusively from the vineyards at Bacigalupi, producers include Cast Winery, Dutcher Crossing, and others, food provided by Girl & The Fig, $110 general admission, $95 for members, only 100 tickets will be sold for this event
Buena Vista Winery: Living History Celebration (15th), step back into the 1860s at Buena Vista Winery, enjoy a day full of wine tasting, food, and history, feel free to dress in period detail for the event
Chateau St. Jean: Bastille Day (16th), celebrate the holiday with three wine samples and one full glass of wine, $15 per person, member + one guest receive a complimentary ticket
deLorimier Winery: Summer Vineyard Picnic (15th), sample new releases, food, live music and an evening in the vineyards, starts at 6:30pm, $75 per person
Imagery Estate Winery: Gallery Days (16th), learn more about the artist behind their 2014 Lagrein label, get her autograph between 1pm and 3pm
J Vineyards & Winery: Bow Tie Vineyard Dinner (15th), 6:30pm to 10:30pm
Lambert Bridge: Chef's Table Series (14 - 16), enjoy a wine and food pairing experience with local chef, Mateo of Mateo's Cocina Latina, $95 members/$125 for non-members, 11am to 3pm
Rodney Strong: Battle of the Blends (15th), learn about the five Bordeaux varietals and their role in Bordeaux blends, team up with other participants to blend your own wine, $105 for the public, $85 for club members, 11am to 3pm
Soda Rock Winery: Caribbean Summer Celebration (15th), 4:30pm to 7:30pm

Landmark Vineyards: Pig, Pizza, & Pinot Festival (22nd), whole roasted pig and pizza paired with Landmark wines, 11am to 3pm in the Landmark Courtyard, $50 per person, $30 for club members
Martorana Family Winery: Annual Winemaker Dinner in the Vineyard (22nd), spend the evening in the Merlot vineyard as you sample tasty wines paired with a delicious meal
Robledo Family Winery: Paella Dinner (22nd), dinner, wine tasting and more from 6pm to 9pm, $55 for club members, $65 for non-club members
Seghesio: Zin & BBQ Festival (22), eat BBQ treats paired with the best Seghesio Zinfandel wines, 1pm to 5pm, $75 per person, $60 for wine club members
Chateau Diana: Sunflower Festival (29th), the sunflowers are in full bloom, enjoy music, food, wine slushies, and other fun activities all day long on the 29th at Chateau Diana
Clos du Bois: Blue Hawaii Burger Bash (29th), listen to the King as you enjoy a burger with the perfect wine pairing, 12pm to 3pm, $40 per person, $20 for members
Jacuzzi Wines: Pizza in the Piazza (30th), spend some time at Jacuzzi enjoying pizza and wine, $30 for a bottle plus a full pizza, $10 for just a slice with a glass of wine, 12pm to 3pm
Jordan Wines: Sunset Supper at Vista Point (29th), evening starts with a reception, guests are then chauffered to Vista Point for an open air 3-course meal at the highest point on the estate, 5:30pm to 8:30pm, $200 per person
Rued Wines: Rued Family Summer Barbecue (29th), an evening BBQ with the Rued family, sample wines, enjoy great food and company

In addition to these Sonoma County wine events in July, you will also find dozens of other fun things to do here. You can float above the vineyards in a hot air balloon, take a hike to soak in the sun, or ride on a bike from winery to winery as you sample local favorites.
