July is one of the most popular months to visit San Francisco and it's easy to see why. This month is full of fun things to do from the huge Fourth of July celebrations to the free concert every Sunday afternoon in Stern Grove.

During your visit to San Francisco, make sure you leave a little time to visit the Golden Gate Bridge. The best way to visit is with this free guided walking tour. Every Thursday at 11am, a volunteer guide from the SF Public Library takes you on a walk on this amazing structure. The knowledgable guide will tell you more about its history and other fun facts.

Each month, several SF Museums offer free admission. You can roam around their permanent collection at no cost all day long. Some request a small fee to visit their temporary/traveling exhibits.

Every Thursday night in July, check out the 21+ events at the California Academy of Sciences. Each week, they focus on a different theme such as The Science of Love, Chemical Reactions, and the Future of Transportation. Events include a cocktail bar, appetizers, and other like minded adults. All events last from 6pm to 10pm.

Start the holiday weekend off with a summer party cruise on the SF Bay. This three hour cruise includes two DJs (playing Top 40 & House music) and three fully stocked cash bars. The evening includes dancing, fun, and amazing views of SF's top attractions at night. The cruise leaves at 9:30pm and arrives back in SF at 12:30am.

The SF Mime Troupe kicks off their summer festival season in Dolores Park on July 3. This year's production is called Freedomland. The Mime Troupe will hold several performances in both San Francisco and the SF Bay Area through the first part of September. The shows are free, but they do request donations.
Join in on the fun this Fourth of July in San Francisco. One of the biggest draws is the huge fireworks display along the waterfront in Fisherman's Wharf. You will also find several fun activities all day long including the Fillmore Jazz Festival, special Bay Cruises, and live music and entertainment.

The annual Fillmore Jazz Festival is over Fourth of July weekend. All day on Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5, enjoy live jazz music, gourmet food, and other fun activities. All activities are between 10am and 6pm.

The SF MOMA is currently closed through the spring of 2016. However, you can stop by the Museum of the African Diaspora to take a look at several portraits from the SF MOMA collection from the 20th Century until today. The exhibit allows you to explore different portrait techniques from Europe, America, and Africa.

Every Sunday in July, head to Stern Grove for free music in the park. Performances start at 2pm. The festival features large international acts as well as local favorites. Get there early to grab your spot for the show!

Join other baseball lovers at AT&T Park for SF Giants Baseball. In July 2015, they play 12 home games. They face teams such as the Athletics, Mets, and Phillies.
